When you confirm your booking we send you the name of the person coming up, their photo and their qualification. It isn't a courtesy detail: it's what turns “someone is coming to my room” into “Marta is coming, a qualified therapeutic massage practitioner who covers the Alcúdia area”.
Formal training in therapeutic massage or physiotherapy, certificate on the table. Experience without paperwork doesn't qualify, however good the hands.
Current and in the professional's own name. It's what covers you if something goes wrong, which is why we require it before the first session.
A session with us before the first one with a client. We check technique, and also whether they can set up a table on a terrace without turning it into a removal job.
We speak to someone who has worked with that person. Five minutes on the phone prevents a bad experience.
Punctuality, professional appearance and discretion. They're arriving at your accommodation, not a clinic, and that shows in the first three seconds.
They arrive with time to spare, not on the dot, and with everything: professional table, clean linens, towels and oil. Setup takes about five minutes and everything packs away afterwards. All you need is about two metres of space — the bedroom, the terrace or the living area all work fine.
If you'd rather have a female or male therapist, you say so when booking and that's how we assign. No explanations, and nobody asks you why.
They don't take photos, don't ask you for reviews while you're on the table, and don't offer you anything outside the booking. It's written into the agreement they sign with us.
Native Spanish, English and German within the team, so you can explain where it hurts in your own language instead of pointing. For French, Italian and Portuguese we work with a translated service sheet and a written conversation beforehand, which in practice works better than half a language.
If language matters to you, say so when you message: we assign accordingly, subject to availability in your area.
We have therapists spread across the island, not all setting out from Palma. That's why travel is included in the price and a session in Cala Ratjada costs the same as one in the centre.
In August and in the furthest corners we also work with local partner agencies. Those therapists go through exactly the same vetting and arrive with our protocol, and you still know in advance who it is.
